About
Verity and Mike Productions research, write and perform original shows in theatres and showrooms throughout Australia and offshore. We also offer scaled-down entertainment for local nursing homes for free.
Our shows are professional theatre productions but inexpensive and accessible. Productions review the songs of iconic artists from the golden age of popular music, for example, Perry Como (including his Christmas shows), Jim Reeves, Patsy Cline, Brenda Lee, Ray Price, Frank Sinatra (his swing Capitol years) and Matt Monro. Employing modern audio-visual techniques our shows are designed to entertain a sophisticated audience as well as being uplifting and family-friendly.
Shows
Our shows are not just songs strung together. Songs are interspersed with interesting stories assisted by a screen presentation, in the style of reviews rather than tributes, with content about 40/60 script and music and from one hour to 90 minutes long.

* these shows can be performed solo by Mike for midweek events

Performance Style
We have enjoyed being a part of the professional entertainment industry for more than thirty years. Our preference is for adult standards, music straight from the heart: warm and sympathetic, vulnerable and uplifting, nostalgic but with sufficient substance to remain consistently contemporary.
We prefer not to assault the listener’s ear but engage the audience using a smooth unpretentious style that has never lost its timeless charisma; great songs sung with intelligence and respect.
